Milano Jumping Cup, it's a wrap!
Satisfaction is the word most often used here at the first edition of the Milano Jumping Cup. It is not just the Organising Committee that is satisfied, but above all the riders who played the leading role during these three days that have brought international show jumping to the Snai San Siro Racecourse for the very first time.
“It has been wonderful to see the great excitement and wonder in everyone’s eyes when discovering this new show,” said Show Director Sara Riffeser. “The atmosphere was always very pleasant and I would describe this show as having been extremely relaxed. The organisational aspects were those of all large events with thousands of details to be taken care of. It was a fun show for everyone and the riders reacted enthusiastically to the twinning with the Jockeys racing on Saturday when the race meeting started involving a lot of the top riders at the Milano Jumping Cup.”
“The Milano San Siro Jumping Cup is part of the international calendar as an event with a special meaning – emphasised the Italian Equestrian Sports Federation’s Secretary General, Simone Perillo – also thanks to the great show put on integrating show jumping and flat racing. The organisation of this show could result in a sort of twinning with the Roman one that has been held in the wonderful Piazza di Siena for almost one hundred years. Lombardy’s great equestrian traditions could find in the Milano Jumping Cup a new event to be extremely proud of.”
Before filing away with satisfaction the first edition of the Milano Jumping Cup, the organisation thanked all the event’s partners, Fastweb, Vargroup, EY, Infront, Kep Italia and Safe Riding, for their support.
A special thank you went to media partners Sky Sport, Radio Italia, Quotidiano Nazionale and Cavallo Magazine for the attention and care devoted to this show.
Everything is ready for us all to meet again here in 2022!
